Welcome to the Anglican Parish of Altona/Laverton!

We are one community of Christians meeting in two church centres in the western suburbs of Melbourne: St Eanswythe’s in Altona and St Clement’s in Altona Meadows. We gather to worship God and to build bridges of care and support within the church and the community. We all come with different stories, backgrounds, languages, hopes, concerns and uncertainties.

Our parish lies on the country of the Kulin nation. We recognise and honour the Indigenous custodians of this land over countless generations, and we pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We commit ourselves to the path of reconciliation, justice and healing (including to Pay The Rent to local First Nations people).
