1pm Sunday service: Te Hakari Tapu (Holy Eucharist)
Join us in Maori worship at St Eanswythe’s weekly service – all are welcome with open arms, be at peace in your lives. Join our growing congregation (together with Sunday school) enjoying our Maori service with the beautiful singing of Maori Himene and prayer, then share together in afternoon tea. (This service is taken from A New Zealand Prayer Book / He Karakia Mihinare o Aotearoa and is in Te Reo Maori and English.)
History
The Maori Community Fellowship Te Wairua Tapu Ki Poipiripi was founded in 2008 through the dedication of our Maori people, under the guidance and influence of Cindy Dennis, Reverend Liam Matthews, Bishop Philip Huggins and the late Reverend Victor Wilson. Now a registered Incorporation under the governance and guidance of the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne, we are blessed to be a part of St Eanswythe’s Church in Altona.
