Thank you for visiting our website. At present our buildings and activities are closed in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, so at the moment our parish is functioning differently from usual. But we are still here!

Some of our services (on Sunday and during the week) are being livestreamed on our Facebook page. For other services, we are are using Zoom videoconferencing to meet together.

If you’re new to the parish or visiting us, or if you are looking for some help from us, please do get in touch with us. We may not be able to meet in person at the moment, but there are other ways of meeting for the time being!

Welcome to the Anglican Parish of Altona/Laverton.

We are one community of Christians meeting in two church centres in the western suburbs of Melbourne: St Eanswythe’s in Altona and St Clement’s in Altona Meadows. We gather to worship God and to build bridges of care and support within the church and the community. We all come with different stories, backgrounds, languages, hopes, concerns and uncertainties.

Our parish lies on the traditional country of the Yaluk-ut Weelam people within the Boonwurrung clan, part of the greater Kulin nation. We recognise and honour the Indigenous custodians of this land over countless generations, and we pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We commit ourselves to the path of reconciliation, justice and healing.

Anyone is welcome to join us as we discover together what it means to follow Jesus. Do come along to one of our services, or contact us for further information.
